Clinical cases from our practice
Cervical osteochondrosis
V metatarsal bone fracture
Fracture of the V metatarsal bone – the smallest outer bone of the foot. Fracture can occur when pressing with twisting, inversion, as well as when applying great force to the back of the foot. It often occurs at a young age. It can occur in various work and domestic accidents. Sports such as ballet, rhythmic gymnastics and football are defined as risky.
Movement after immobilization plays an important role in the recovery of the affected limb and the avoidance of complications.
Scapula alta
Pterygoid scapulae (scapula alta) is a condition in which due to muscle imbalance the scapulae are incorrectly positioned. Characteristic is the separation of the outer edge of the scapula from the thorax and its rotation forward, whereby the lower scapular angle reflects.
Shoulder instability can involve shoulder girdle pain and dysfunction.
Prevention and treatment consists of analytical, properly constructed therapeutic gymnastics by a specialist – physiotherapist.
Shoulder fracture with metal osteosynthesis
We present you another shoulder, which we managed to restore in terms of muscle strength, range of motion and functionality …. Thank you for your trust.
Scoliosis
In the photo, our patient was unsuccessfully treated with hardware physiotherapy for low back pain. During the examination and analysis of the posture, we diagnosed scoliosis, whose main treatment method is therapeutic gymnastics, not hardware therapy. After a correct selection of exercises on the second visit only a week after the first, the patient reported that there were no complaints.
Tenosynovitis of De Kerven
* In the photo we present a patient diagnosed with De Quervain.
Spike on C3
An important focus of the healing process is the restoration of muscle balance, which will create conditions for normal arthrochemicals.
Hematoma
Trauma and a fall involving a blood vessel can cause a hematoma. The blood gets under the skin, between the tissues, squeezing them and causing pain, swelling and dysfunction. Recovery involves the breakdown and absorption of blood, which takes time and the color of the hematoma changes, going from blue, green to yellow. There is a risk of encapsulation and infection. That is why physiotherapy is needed. Health requires care – timely and adequate!
Shoulder joint endoprosthesis
Endoprosthesis of the shoulder joint is a rare surgical intervention because the joint is not load-bearing. In the photo we see a total prosthesis, in which all destroyed and worn surfaces (pit, head, wall) are replaced. The artificial joint is not able to fully compensate for the natural joint, but it can eliminate the pain and functionally improve the capabilities of the arm.
